Valentines Day

February 14

I finally saw hope here… and life. It was Valentines Day. We prayed silently on the sidewalk and then the girls, with wind blowing their hair, ran up and down the sidewalk in front of the place. We let them be themselves… Emma laughing out loud and Kaylee giggling with sheer joy. Running. Not afraid of skinned knees on the grey sidewalk. Not afraid of anyone hearing that sweet laughter where hope was desperately needed. Not afraid of anything stealing their peace. I know it was just what the place needed.

And then, a sonogram emerged from the place and across the street, two young women squealed happily over a tiny little LIFE.

And in that instant hope was born in my heart.

God is in control.

Keep praying.
