His creation / my weekend at the beach

My sister and girlfriends (Jenna and Kristen) had planned a beach trip for us (secretly) so that's where I've been this weekend...

I've decided one of the best things in the world is sitting in your room, or on your balcony, or on your couch at the beach, or putting lipstick on in the bathroom mirror and hearing the ocean waves crash about the land right outside. I'm amazed at God's beautiful creation. Aren't His designs awesome??!! YES!

So we spent the weekend laughing (OUT LOUD!) and eating and putting 5c in the mini jukebox (Love Shack baby). We spent the weekend talking about our grandparents and their histories and how our parents met. I love those conversations. We spent the weekend walking the beach with the wind in our hair. We spent the weekend at a nice restaurant on the beach in a window facing the ocean. We ate crabcakes and shrimp and talked about ... well, it's all a secret. We shopped at the outlets and bought pretty rings and jewelry. Then we finally bought some doughnuts at Krispy Kreme on the way out of town and had a nice ride home...

We were girls.

And my favorite part was singing to Jesus on the way home... my favorite act of worship. Looking out the windows and inside my heart, thanking Him for His life.
